Training Center Overview
The Henry County Emergency Services Training Center is being built to provide safe, controlled and realistic training simulations designed to meet the challenging and complex needs of fire, law, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and others in a comprehensive environment. The site is one of four located in District 6 and would not have been possible had it not been for the initial grants from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and the efforts of the past Mayor of the City of New Castle, Jim Small. The 5-acre complex is home to multiple training props allowing each agency to pick and choose how and where to build their customized training evolutions.
